Why join our team?

Mentorship and training are a top priority in the Rodríguez-Romaguera lab. Dr. Rodrdiguez-Romaguera takes his role as a mentor very seriously and works directly with his trainees to help them achieve their maximum potential. We aim to train the next generation of scientific thinkers who value communication and collaboration among fellow researchers. I take my job as a mentor very seriously and hope to work together with my trainees so they can achieve their maximum potential. 

Postdoctoral Associates and Fellows

If you are interested in doing postdoctoral training in our lab please email Dr. Rodríguez-Romaguera. In the email, please provide a brief description of your past and current projects, career goals, what you hope to accomplish in the Rodriguez-Romaguera lab, and what you hope to bring to our group. Additionally, please provide a copy of your CV and contact information of three references to aid in our evaluation and assessment of a potential fit. 

Graduate Students

If you are a UNC graduate student that is interested in rotating in our lab please email Dr. Rodríguez-Romaguera to set up a meeting. In the email, please provide a brief description of why you are interested in the lab. 

Research Assistants

If you are interested in working in our lab as a full-time research assistant for a period of at least 2 years please email Dr. Rodríguez-Romaguera indicating your interest with an explanation of why you are specifically interested in our lab. 

Undergraduate Students
